Matthew as a Director and Musical Director
Whilst normally working as both Director and Musical Director for amature theatre companies, Matthew can also be booked to Direct or Musical Direct your show, concert, or cabaret to the highest of standards. Below are some of his current and recent productions:
The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Matthew was Director and Musical Director for Starmaker Theatre Company and was performed at The Whitty Theatre, Wokingham, in November 2017. Matthew led a cast of Actor-Musos and played percussion and conducted during the show.
In The Heights
Matthew was the Co-Director (alongside Amelia Dorey) and Musical Director for Starmaker’s October 2018 production. The band was a 9 piece and was the Tour Edition.
Barnum
Matthew was Musical Director for TOPS production of Barnum which was performed in May 2017. This production was nominated for 5 Swan Awards 2016-17, including Best Musical Production. Matthew conducted a 10 piece orchestra, which included a string section, a brass section, three reed players, percussion, piano, and guitar.
Legally Blonde
Matthew was Director and Musical Director for Starmaker Theatre Companies Legally Blonde in October 2016. Matthew conducted a 9 piece orchestra each night at The Wilde Theatre in Bracknell.
